This past week I got the chance to photograph my brother, Tres Yonkin, around his home in a series of three portraits. I got to spend an early afternoon setting up each shot and visiting with my brother, his wife and their new baby. Tres cooked up bell peppers and sausage I had brought for the first portrait and the house smelled amazing! The second portrait, taken in front of a pair of windows, was fun capturing the many faces, both goofy and serious, that my brother could come up with. For our last photograph, it was nice to spend a little while in the sun in the backyard that Tres will be gardening as soon as Spring is in full swing. I don't get to photograph my family professionally very often, so it is always enjoyable to be able to capture the people we've known so well our whole lives.
