Juggalo Portraiture Revisited - Maus

Last year I started a project in which I photographed Juggalos in the studio on large-format film. I focused on the colorful and original characters that each has created which is on display through the facepaint and style that each Juggalo wears. It was a lot of fun to do, I met new friends, and we captured some amazing portraits. I hope to continue the project someday and use the large-format camera to shoot more Juggalo portraiture. You can view a short video I created about the project here. I wanted to revisit this project on here on my blog by sharing some of the digital test shots of each of the Juggalos in the series this week. The first images I'll be sharing are of Maus who was integral to finding some of the Juggalos in the series and who also designed and applied the facepaint of a few of them as well.
